I handcraft a full range of functional objects meant for the ceremonies that bring us together, most notably, those celebratory gatherings or habitual customs steeped in long tradition and teeming with ritual.
In my practice, I aim to provide others with objects that serve. Whether serving oneself or serving others, it is my hope that people choose objects of meaning and beauty, and equally, that these objects function with ease and intent. It is my belief that works of character continue to build character in time, and in this way, become attached to our memories.
Life is best spent in the company of those we keep. Crafted objects provide a chance for us to better experience and celebrate these shared moments, which become shared histories.
